The Department of Mechanical Technology integrates 10 professors, developing academic, research and development activities and providing services in the scientific areas of: Mechanical Constructions; Thermodynamics and Thermal Processes.

School of Technology and Management

The School of Technology and Management (ESTiG) is an organic teaching and research unit of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB), with administrative, pedagogical and scientific autonomy. Established in 1990 with the mission of training students and research in the areas of engineering and business sciences.

CeDRI Research Centre

The Research Centre in Digitalization and Intelligent Robotics (CeDRI) is an applied inter-disciplinar research unit that clusters together active researchers from the fields of Electronics, Computer Science and Mathematics.

UNIAG Research Centre

The Applied Management Research Unit (UNIAG) is a unit that promotes and develops applied, multidisciplinary and reference research on topics that fits in the area of Business and Economic Sciences.
